Since March of 2006, Underwater Warriors has been helping injured servicemen and women find freedom in an underwater world by offering scuba diving as a mind, body, and spirit program. Due to the initial success of our efforts at Fort Campbell, the Army and GoArmyEd are partnering with Murray State University to take the program under their wings and conduct a scientific study of the therapeutic effects of scuba diving. During the transition over to the Army and Murray State University, Underwater Warriors will continue to provide support for equipment as needed.

We are very excited about this development as it will allow our program to grow beyond what our small organization was able to provide. In addition, program participants will now be able to earn college credit for their classes through Murray State University and educational assistance though GoArmyEd.

For additional information about the new program, please contact the Murray State University Fort Campbell office at (931) 431-5700.
